leaves of winter – revisited

A couple years ago, I did a short series entitled “leaves of winter.” This subject is one I continue to photograph, extensively. There is something about encountering a leaf in the winter, dried and shriveled as it may be, an object out of its time. The contrast of the fresh fallen snow with the dried leaf impresses me with the contrasts of life. I contemplate life on a different plane and the beauty of all things.

  1. Very impressive, you can see the different designs on the snow.
