wild columbine in winter

Wild Columbine grow in our woods. They even grow under the Red Pine tree at the end of the driveway. The Wild Columbine is one of the earliest flowers to bloom. It’s beloved by the hummingbirds of summer, who visit each of the Wild Columbine in the woods, taking their nourishment!
I photographed this plant in the summer and decided to do the same in the winter.
These floral remnants add texture to the woods in the winter, one in which I have great interest!
