beauty in the woods

It is often said that, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” and true it is. I often wonder what in an object reminds us to notice its beauty. For there is beauty in everything. A beauty we often we fail to notice. What about a flower or bird or person reminds us to appreciate its beauty? Maybe it is simply that we are in a place – physically, emotionally, or spiritually – where we remember to see.
